Hi, I'm Sarah!
Welcome to Sarah's House! I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a licensed elementary special education teacher with eight years of experience helping children learn, grow, and discover their unique strengths.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with children of many different abilities, personalities, and learning styles. Those experiences have shaped not only the educator I am today, but also the vision behind Sarah's House.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. My goal is to create an environment where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, build friendships, and develop the confidence that will serve them not just in Kindergarten, throughout their lives.

Sarah's House is a fully licensed home daycare, meeting state standards for health, safety, and quality. From regular inspections and comprehensive policies to ongoing training and compliance, families have confidence knowing their child is learning in a safe, nurturing, and professionally operated environment.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe young children learn best through play, curiosity, and meaningful experiences.
Rather than focusing on worksheets or rigid instruction, I create engaging opportunities that encourage children to investigate, imagine, create, and problem-solve. Every activity has a purpose, whether we're reading stories, exploring nature, creating art, building with blocks, or practicing everyday life skills.
Children are naturally curious, and my role is to nurture that curiosity while helping them develop the confidence, independence, communication skills, and love of learning that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
